"Ye Olde" is a term sometimes applied in America as a humor device.
It implies quality as from days long ago.
There are many banks in America (and I assume around the world)
with numerical names such as "The first bank of New York" or "Second
national bank". The numbers are merely part of the name and added to
differentiate from banks of similar names.
"Ye Olde Eleventh Bank" is someone within OSI adding a humorous touch
to the names in the game. Nothing more. |
